Beat.MS is a three-tiered, educational app for people suffering with multiple sclerosis.
The app has been developed for three user types:
1. Patients: get more information on multiple sclerosis, find specialists in the Middle East and share your self-assessment tests with healthcare professionals. Patients also have the ability to maintain their health records, where they can share MRIs or other records with their doctors.
2. Care givers: Family members and nurses looking after patients will MS will find information pertaining to the condition.
3. Doctors: Physicians can use the app to monitor patient progress, and can also connect to specialists across the Middle East, engaging in meaningful conversations that can lead to better quality of treatment for patients. Doctors also have access to an EDSS calculator, as well as the McDonald Criteria. Physicians can also use the app to store electronic health records for their patients including MRI scans.
